Do you take insurance, and what does a visit cost?

Accepted Answer

No. PhysioVictory is cash-based and out-of-network. A New Client Assessment is $225 and a follow-up visit is $199. Once a physician referral is on file, we give you a superbill to send to your insurance for out-of-network reimbursement. HSA and FSA cards work here, and we accept CareCredit. We stay out of network on purpose. Insurance-based clinics get paid per visit by the insurer, which pushes them toward short, double-booked appointments and care handed off to aides. Working for you directly means the plan is whatever your body actually needs, and if you are better after one visit, that is the end of it. We do not sell packages or contracts; you pay one visit at a time. Question 2

Can I use my HSA or FSA?

Accepted Answer

Yes. PhysioVictory is a licensed physical therapy practice, so evaluations, follow-ups, dry needling, manual therapy and pelvic floor care are all eligible expenses. Use your HSA or FSA debit card at the clinic. If your plan asks for paperwork, we give you an itemized receipt (a superbill) once a physician referral is on file.

Do I need a doctor's referral?

No, not to start. Texas direct access lets you see a licensed physical therapist for up to 30 days without a referral. You can book an assessment today. The first visit is a hands-on evaluation; treatment and dry needling begin at your follow-up visits. If your care continues past 30 days, or if you want to submit a superbill to your insurance, a referral needs to be on file. We handle that with your physician during the first weeks so nothing interrupts your care. If you only need a few visits and are not using insurance, you never need one.

Will my insurance reimburse me?

Accepted Answer

Some plans reimburse part of out-of-network physical therapy once your deductible is met; many do not. We never provide a superbill without a physician referral on file, because that is what most plans want to see. Call the number on your card and ask about "out-of-network outpatient physical therapy." We cannot promise what your plan will do, but the superbill gives you everything they need.

How many visits will I need?

Accepted Answer

It depends on how long the problem has been there, but most pelvic floor clients see us for 4 to 8 visits, and most chronic pain clients start with a short, intensive stretch of about twice a week for a few weeks. That first stretch is meant to calm a nervous system that has been on guard for a long time and break the pain cycle. Once pain is down we retest your movement, because the results are far more accurate without pain in the picture, and decide the next step together: corrective exercise, a return to heavy training, occasional maintenance, or done. We only take on cases we believe conservative care can help. If what we see at the assessment points to a physician first, we tell you that day and point you to the right one.

Question 6

How long are the visits, and is it really one-on-one?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The New Client Assessment is 60 minutes and every follow-up is 45 minutes, with the same therapist the whole time. There is no double-booking, no aide, and nobody leaves you in a corner with a sheet of exercises. Every treatment visit starts in the recovery room, which we call the nervous system runway. The idea is simple: a body that walks in from traffic and a full inbox is braced, and braced tissue does not respond well to hands-on work. Depending on the plan for the day that might be NormaTec compression for the hips before strength work, or infrared heat and vibration before manual therapy for chronic pain. Question 7

Do I have to sign a contract or buy a package?

Accepted Answer

No. You pay one visit at a time and can stop whenever you want. Most clients book a standing weekly time a few weeks ahead so the work stays consistent, but that is a reservation, not a contract. Only the first visit is paid up front to hold the hour; after that the card on file is charged the day of each visit.

I already tried physical therapy and it didn't work. How is this different?

Accepted Answer

Most of our clients come to us after other care did not hold, so you are in the right place. The usual reason PT fails for long-standing back or joint pain is that it treats the spot that hurts and nothing else. Pain is an output: the brain produces it in response to what the rest of the body is doing. If a clinic only heats, rubs or exercises the sore spot without looking at the joints, nerves, hips and core that are loading it, the pain comes back. At your assessment we look at the whole system to find what is actually driving the symptom, whether that is a stiff joint two levels away, a nerve that is irritated, a hip that is not doing its share, or a pelvic floor and breathing pattern that keeps the back braced. Then the hands-on work and the exercises target that, not the symptom. Because you pay by the visit, there is no reason for us to stretch it out. Two worked examples: back pain that didn't improve with PT and foot and ankle pain that outlasted PT.

Do you do pelvic floor therapy?

Accepted Answer

Yes, one-on-one, with your clothes on, and with no internal exams. We call it functional pelvic floor care: the pelvic floor is treated as part of the pressure system it belongs to, with the deep core, diaphragm and hips, rather than as one muscle to squeeze. It is for pregnancy and postpartum, bladder leakage, diastasis recti, and the hip and back pain that often travels with them. Read more about pelvic floor therapy in Conroe. Because the pelvic floor sits at the base of that pressure system, clients who come in for leakage often tell us other things improved too: low back and hip pain, and the jaw clenching and neck tension that go with a braced core.

Question 10

Do you see men for pelvic floor problems?

Accepted Answer

Yes, case by case. Men usually come in for leakage with lifting or after prostate surgery, core weakness, or hip and groin pain. The care is the same: fully clothed, no internal exams, movement-based. After a prostatectomy we ask for a commitment of twice a week for at least four weeks, because that is what it takes to see a change.

Do you do dry needling, and what does it cost?

Accepted Answer

Yes, after a New Client Assessment has been completed to ensure dry needling is an appropriate way to manage your case. Dry needling sessions are $199 and typically include corrective exercise or manual therapy as needed to truly address the reason for the dry needling. The needle itself is thin and goes into a tight band in a muscle to release it; needling a muscle that is tight for a reason, such as a stiff joint or an irritated nerve, only gives short-term relief on its own.

Do you treat hypermobility, EDS or POTS?

Accepted Answer

Yes, and hypermobile clients do well here. A hypermobile body does not need more stretching; it needs joints that are controlled and muscles that know how to hold. Care is paced to avoid flares and built around strength you can keep. Bring any notes from your doctors.

Do you do neurological or post-stroke therapy?

Accepted Answer

Yes, case by case: balance and walking work after a stroke, mild brain injury or with Parkinson's disease. We evaluate each neuro case first to be sure one-on-one outpatient care is the right setting.

Do you see children?

Accepted Answer

Yes, for pelvic floor, jaw and TMJ, and orthopedic problems, and I've worked with kids for a long time. The clinic runs at a calm, settled pace, with a quiet recovery room at the start of every visit, so it's a good fit for a child who is comfortable in that kind of space and a hard fit for one who isn't. What conditions do you treat?

Accepted Answer

Hip, back, shoulder, neck and jaw, foot and ankle, and nerve pain; pelvic floor and core problems; hypermobility; and chronic pain that hasn't responded to other care. If you're not sure your problem fits, call and ask. We'll tell you honestly, and point you somewhere better if we're not it.

Where do I park, and which suite?

Accepted Answer

Park near the west-facing entrance at 100 Commercial Circle. You will see our lion logo near the door by the ramp. Ring the doorbell when you arrive and our staff will be ready to greet you for your appointment.

What should I wear and bring?

Accepted Answer

Tennis shoes and loose clothing you can move in, like a t-shirt and yoga pants rather than leggings and compression gear. Finish your intake forms on your phone before you arrive and bring any imaging reports or doctor's notes you have.
