Pelvic Floor Therapy in Conroe

PhysioVictory offers one-on-one functional pelvic floor physical therapy in Conroe, Texas, for bladder leakage, diastasis recti, postpartum recovery, and hip and back pain tied to core or pelvic floor dysfunction. Our care is movement-based and works with your core, pelvic floor, and diaphragm together. There are no internal exams. Care is led by Dr. Lindsay Kennedy, PT, DPT, COMT and Hannah Madden, PTA.

Who we see

Most of the people we see for pelvic floor care are women who:

  • leak when they cough, sneeze, laugh, run, or lift
  • have diastasis recti, a separation of the abdominal muscles, that hasn't closed the way they hoped
  • are recovering after having a baby, whether that was weeks or years ago
  • have hip or low back pain that keeps coming back and seems connected to their core and pelvis

We also see men on a case-by-case basis, generally for core weakness, bladder leakage with lifting, or hip and groin pain.

A lot of women are told leaking is just part of having kids. It's common. That doesn't mean you have to live with it.

Why we treat the whole system

Two reasons. First, many women put off pelvic floor care because they don't want an internal exam. There are no internal exams here, so that shouldn't be what stands between you and help. Second, your pelvic floor doesn't work alone. It works with your breathing, your deep core, and your hips. When those aren't working together, the pelvic floor often pays for it. We look beyond just the pelvic floor to find out why your pelvic floor is compensating.

What your first visit looks like

Every new patient starts with a 60-minute, one-on-one evaluation with a Doctor of Physical Therapy. We will:

  • review your full health history, including pregnancies and orthopedic history
  • assess how you move, breathe, and use your core
  • assess your hips and back
  • explain what we find and why it matters in your day-to-day life

You leave with instructions you can start using right away to change the daily habits that may be contributing to your symptoms. Please wear comfortable clothes you can move in to this session.

How many visits

Most pelvic floor patients come in 4 to 8 times, depending on their personal goals and level of function. After your evaluation, we'll recommend a plan and help you find the appointment time that fits your life. That time becomes your standing reservation, so it's held for you each visit, and most patients schedule 4 to 6 weeks ahead. You can book to our recommendation or to your budget. There are no packages and no contracts.

Cost and payment

PhysioVictory is a cash-pay, out-of-network practice.

  • Initial evaluation (60 minutes): $225
  • Follow-up visit (45 minutes): $199

Your first visit is paid when you book, to hold the full hour for you. After that, the card on file is charged on the day of each visit.

We provide a superbill you can submit to your insurance for possible out-of-network reimbursement, and we accept HSA and FSA cards. You don't need a doctor's referral to start. If you want a superbill for your insurance, Texas law requires a referral on file within your first 30 days of care. If you only need a few weeks of care and don't want a superbill, no referral is needed at all.

When we'll send you somewhere else

If something we find points to a medical issue, or your pelvic pain needs a physician's evaluation, we'll tell you plainly and help you find the right provider.

Common questions

Will there be an internal exam? No. There are no internal exams at PhysioVictory. Pelvic floor care here is functional and movement-based, working with your core, pelvic floor, and diaphragm.

My kids are older. Is it too late? It's rarely too late. Many women start this work years after their last baby and still feel significant relief in 1 to 2 weeks.

Can I keep working out? In most cases, yes. We change how you train, not whether you train.

How soon after having a baby can I start? Any time after birth, as long as getting here doesn't add stress to your postpartum recovery. We start where you are.

Do I need a referral? No. You can book directly. A referral only matters if you want a superbill for your insurance; then we need one on file within your first 30 days.
