Is there a physical therapist near Willis who will take the time to figure out what is actually going on?
Yes. PhysioVictory is in Conroe at 100 Commercial Circle, about 15 minutes down I-45 from the center of Willis and less from the south side of 77318. We see people from Willis, Lake Conroe, Panorama Village and Montgomery every week. Your first visit is a 60-minute hands-on evaluation with your therapist, not a rushed intake and a printout. We do not bill insurance, so the hour is spent on you.
Who drives down from Willis
Most of the people who come to us from Willis have already been somewhere. They have done a round of physical therapy that ended when the visits ran out, chiropractic adjustments, or an injection that bought a month of relief. The pain came back, and they want someone to simply help them feel good in their body again. That is exactly what PhysioVictory is setup to accomplish for you.
The things we help with most often:
- back pain and sciatica that stretching has not fixed,
- hip pain that wakes you at night,
- shoulder and neck tension,
- jaw pain sent to us by your dentist,
- pelvic floor problems during pregnancy and after, and
- the knee and foot pain that keeps you off the boat, out of the garden or off the trail.
The common mistake
People in Willis pick the clinic that is closest and takes their insurance, because that is the sensible thing to do. The trouble is that insurance-based care is built around visit counts and authorizations, not around the question of what is driving your pain. You can do everything right, show up to every visit, and still leave without an answer that produces results. It is not that you failed physical therapy. It is more likely that nobody had the time to look at the whole picture.
What is different here
Your first visit is a 60-minute hands-on evaluation, not a treatment session. We want to understand what is driving the pain before we treat it. Your therapist tests how you move, looks at the joints above and below the sore spot, and finds what seems to be driving it. Then we sit down together, explain what we found, and discuss strategies you can begin doing at home to help things settle. You will not be rushed, dismissed, or sent home with a generic printout. We don't do guesswork.
Every follow-up starts in the recovery room. Your therapist has planned a calm, welcoming recovery experience for your transition into the clinic, where you decompress, settle your nervous system, and relax your muscles. That prepares you to get the most out of the hands-on and movement-based portions of your session.
Most people keep a standing time each week. In my experience, that is what makes your schedule work: you know your time slot, you plan around it, and the plan is usually a handful of weekly or biweekly visits.
How to find us from Willis
Take I-45 south to the Hwy 105 exit, head west, and we are just south of 105 and half a mile west of I-45 at 100 Commercial Circle, Suite A108. Park near the west-facing entrance; you will see our lion logo near the door by the ramp. Ring the doorbell when you arrive and our staff will be ready to greet you.
Cost and payment
The first visit is $225 for the 60-minute evaluation. Follow-up visits are $199. We are cash-based, and once a physician referral is on file we can give you a superbill to submit to your insurance for out-of-network reimbursement. HSA and FSA cards work, and CareCredit is accepted. No referral is needed to start under Texas direct access; a referral goes on file if care continues past 30 days. The full explanation is on our cost and insurance page.
Questions people from Willis ask
Is the drive worth it when there are clinics closer in Willis? That is a fair question, and the honest answer is that it depends on what you have already tried. If a closer clinic is getting you where you want to be, stay with it. If you have done the rounds and the pain keeps coming back, the drive is short for what you get: a full hour on day one spent working out what is driving it, and home habits that take five minutes a day, as non-negotiable as brushing your teeth. You don't need to be in crisis to get care. Tell me what's going on and I'll tell you if we're the right fit.
Can I bring someone with me? Yes, we have an extra chair for a spouse, parent or child.
Do you see people from Lake Conroe and Montgomery too? Yes. Our service area runs from Willis and Montgomery through Conroe to The Woodlands.
What should I do this week?
- Know that pain that keeps coming back is usually a body guarding something, not always an injury. Tissues generally heal within weeks. Painful guarding is usually a habit the nervous system learned, and habits can be changed. That is why people who have tried three things and are still hurting are the people we see most.
- Know that nothing you tried was wasted. Each round of care that did not hold tells us something has been ruled out, and in my experience that simplifies your care here. It is important that we listen and learn from what you have already tried.
